One of the most Godawful movies ever
This seemed to be promoted as a comedy and while there are some supposedly comic moments- if you think someone being chucked out of a carriage into the mud is funny - this is not a comedy movie. Olivia Coleman as always was good. Im not 100% sure of all the details of Queen Anne’s personal life,but it wasn’t a happy one. The whole thing just didn't gel. Sometimes it felt like a touch of over acting with annoying musical interference and the fact that it was set up in “ chapters.”
In any event several people just walked out of the theater including me. It was just bad.
