DON'T DO WHAT I DID, LOOK AT ALL THE BAD REVIEWS. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BLUETOOTH ADAPTER. I had a bluetooth dongle which had started going bad after several months ( it was losing connection on a regular basis and driving me crazy ) so I decided to try a different brand and purchased this Avantee USB Bluetooth as a replacement. I had read all the reviews and a whole bunch of them were very bad, but I just thought people were griping about the little stuff which is part of making a non bluetooth computer hookup to the speakers via a bluetooth transmission. WRONG MOVE, this thing was even worse than the one that I threw away. It would not hold a connection at a distance of ten feet for over 10 seconds without dropping and skipping. I did all the usual: rebooted, tried to upgrade drivers on everything. Nothing worked so I dropped it in the trash can and replaced it with an Amotus USB Bluetooth 4.0 (BCM20702), This item works like a charm and my speakers sound great with no skipping or signal dropping. Next time I buy something, I will pay more attention to the reviews of those who tried to use the item before me. ( Computer custom, 4.0gz,1TB SSD, 16mg ram, Windows 10 ) Thanks for your time
