DO NOT BUY THESE STANDS//WARNING!. DO NOT. It will melt the finish on the back of your guitar. How does it do this? IDK. I can tell you that in less than 6 months these stands damaged several of my guitars. Cost me thousands of dollars in damage. RIght now I have to find a way to get reimbursed. The small squarish area that the back of the guitar leans against reacts with the finish. It literally melts the finish right into the base. AND further, it did this on 3 of DIFFERENT types of guitars. One is a Martin 12 string acoustic, another one is a GIbson SG. I am so upset about this. Here I am keeping the air humidity perfect, having a guitar tech look after my guitars. I am a collector with currently over 25 guitars. Thank GOD I caught this in time. DO NOT BUY THESE. IF YOU HAVE TO, put a sock over that back triangular bar area. This might prevent/not fix this terrible issue. BUT, meaning I lost over $3000-5000 worth of damage.
