If you're into a cheap, disposable, gimmick type cookware then drop a nickle on this. I've been a cook, restaurant owner, and industry rep for over 30 years. The Copper Chef product is NOT nonstick as advertised. They make a great info-commercial. I tried it like I try a lot of cookware. For the record, no cookware lasts forever except my Lodge cast iron equipment. The point is that the Copper Chef maintains a relative non-stick aspect for the first 15 or so uses. I arrived at my conclusion after cooking on the 12" pan: eggs and bacon. Simple. After 15 days, the proteins in the eggs and the lipid&sugars of the bacon eventually took hold. I used basic warm water and mild solution to clean it. No harsh scrub. After 15 days of that the "nonstick" was stick. The last 'll say is that if you're on a 30 day road trip in the RV and need super light weight disposable cookware then get this and toss it after you're home. Sorry Copper Chef.
