*****UPDATED 03/10/2016***** *****UPDATED 03/10/2016***** Classic cast iron make and solid construction. The handle could be a little roomier, but that would mean more material and more money. If you want the competition grade CAP makes those too, but they're more. As to the "seam" that I've heard complained of, mine are just fine.. and at this price even if the would have had a casting seam still present it's nothing a little sandpaper and some elbow grease couldn't have solved. *****UPDATE***** These kettlebells ARE NOT safe, a mild tap of the 40lb to the 20lb opened up a hole in the handle, this means they ARE NOT reliably formed of a solid construction, capable of normal use.. DO NOT BUY!!!
