Audible has no NEED for access to my contact list. The company may WANT it, but it doesn't need it. Some permissions should be optional. I don't Facebook or Twitter every time I read a book. I want my contact list kept private! To this end I have not updated my application. If it gets to the point that not updating prevents me from listening, then I will have to cancel my subscription of over three years. Kathleen S.
