Its kind of cool, has some great features, but wont replace your vacuum. First, I have a German Shepherd, in the description this Roomba says, "Ideal for homes with pets." It is not. All of the fur gets caught in the gap between the vacuum itself and the bin. In the several months I've owned this, i've never once had a full bin, I spend most of my time clearing this little passage way (see pictures). The fur that doesn't get caught in this little passageway tangles in the rollers or the side brush. None of it ends up in the dust bin, which really sucks because I bought this primarily vacuum up the dog fur. Second, this thing gets lost and stuck all the time. I'd say it makes it back to the charging station about 30% of the time. The other 70% I have to find it, and walk it back myself. Its path seems random, and it will often go back and forth over the same spots and ignore other areas...? It is also INSANELY loud... I have porcelain tile floors and it is so squeaky on the floors it can be heard from the street. (see video) Its pretty quite on my carpet though... It does have its benefits, It is easy to clean, it does keep the floors relatively clear of debris, even if most of the debris is wrapped around the rollers or in that little passageway.
