These would have received 5-stars, because the overall quality, weight and functionality of the poles is great for the price. I must have received a bad one though, because after backpacking with them for five days, the cork started peeling off of one of the handles. I duct taped it to keep it together for a trip immediately following that one (no time for a return), and wound up with a blister on my hand from the tape. The cork should have lasted much longer, I don’t understand why it failed so quickly. I’d be willing to update my review if the company were to reach out to me after reading this. Amazon’s return period is so ridiculously short, that with all my travels I never had the chance to return them, and I’m pretty bummed. Other than the handle, the poles performed well, and were very sturdy and easy up adjust quickly going up and down steeper inclines.
