I'm short, so my legs tend to dangle a little bit off of standard chairs and couches. I got this to put in front of my couch, where I often sit and use my laptop or watch TV. This thing is making a huge difference for me. I don't get any tired or achey feeling in my legs sitting on the couch anymore. It is very comfortable on my feet and I like that the extra rectangle can come off (I'm actually using that part in my office). I haven't needed to wash it yet, so I don't know yet how it holds up to a washing, though I will definitely use cold and probably put it in a mesh bag to help avoid any snags to the fabric. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase.
