I recently upgraded to the MacBook pro and needed an adapter for my external memory, my mouse, and to connect to my other monitors. The device is great for having so many ports but they dont work simultaneously! I tried all 4 ports on my laptop and only one worked with the adapter. While in use the connection was lost and wouldnt show up on the computer. like it completely disappeared, really annoying... It also got VERY hot and made my laptop hot too. I called apple to make sure it wasn’t the MacBook but everything checks out. Its a shame because so many other people have wonderful reviews and it has lots of ports! Too bad, I really wanted this to work.
