I highly recommend you NOT buy this product from Amazon. My cat loved the Fortiflora that I purchased from the vet. Then I bought it from Amazon and added it to the food. At first I thought it was just my finicky cat. She would not eat anywhere near her normal amount that she had eaten with gusto with the Fortiflora from the vet. After several days she just would not eat food period. I started to tie it together. When I called my vet they said they had another client in just this week of April 9th 2018 who had purchased Fortiflora from Amazon and the cat would not eat its food. They compared the two Fortiflora packet contents and the texture and color were clearly different. Amazon is probably storing the "live" probiotic poorly. This is incompetent. Those of you that have cats and dogs on this product would know how frustrating and disturbing it is when your animal won't eat especially if they need to gain weight.
