The first time I used this harness with my cat he got spooked by a lawn mower and got out of it in less than 2 seconds! This harness is not as good as my simple band style kind but is shown as better.. took me over an hour to get my car back.. I Do NOT recommend this to hold a cat from running.. the band locks slipped and became extremely loose after I examined the harness when I cat got loose. Even after testing myself it did the same thing. The black band locks do not work well.
