This cage has a hamster wheel which can trap the hamsters leg. My daughter found her hamster mangled and bleeding and trying to chew off her own leg trying to free herself. I have photos but I think they are the reason my last review was not approved, as the damage this cage's hamster wheel did to the hamster was indeed gruesome and upsetting. As cute as this cage is, I would not purchase it again.
