Upgraded this for the 4k 120hz and 8k 60hz from SR5014. Surprised when I ran my RTX 3080 and it was all blackscreen A quick internet search shows there is a HDMI 2.1 faulty bug. I ran via EArc and it ran fine.. This is 100% false advertisement from Marantz that it runs 4k 120hz. I have yet to test Xbox Series X or Ps5 but pretty sure it won't work. I have outreached to Marantz and hoping they rectify this. Not sure what that would mean for a fix as its clearly a hardware issues. Avoid and don't upgrade and wait for a fix.
