Don't waste your money - Hot food but melted/burned product
I'm extremely disappointed in this insulated Lugger and honestly can't believe that it passed Rachel's standards to be produced. I bought it for Thanksgiving since I had too many dishes that required oven space, and expected to place two items into the Lugger to stay hot until the rest of the meal was ready. As you can see from my attached photo my hot dish MELTED the bottom of the bag. Thankfully, when I went to move dishes around (about 10 minutes later) I noticed it. I then added a dry dish cloth between the bag and the hot casserole dish. This fixed the problem BUT my Lugger is now burned/melted.
Also, when you add an item to the top section of the Lugger if smooshes down onto the lower lever. Since my bottom casserole was uncovered I feared that it would either burn or transfer food to the top of the bottom level since I had the experience I already noted with the burning. If you watch the video that's posted along with this item the lady takes a hot uncovered casserole dish, puts it in the bottom layer, and then adds bread and a bottle of wine to the top. My guess is if the video showed everything that when she arrived at her event the bottom of her Lugger would be burned too and possibly part of that delicious looking casserole dish plastered on the top of the bottom layer.
The concept behind this product is great, but it doesn't work as advertised. Oh, let me add that it DID keep my casserole hot which is why I gave it two stars rather than one. The product instructions and the video should have noted that you have to add your own cloth liner between the insulation and your dish (actually, it may still have melted/burned with that), and that the bottom layer isn't strong enough to keep the top layer from kissing the bottom.
