The style is so nice that everyone will be happy to display it. It mentions a man's bag, but it would also look great on a woman. The strap can detach if you would like. Has so many areas to hold paperwork, electronics or anything else you might like to carry. The quality is great and it is made of real leather and canvas. Anyone would be glad to own this or give as a gift :-) Update: we were just at my daughters yesterday and I noticed my son in law with the messenger bag when he came home from work. I asked him how has it been working. He said that it not only is working well but when he goes to the meetings many people comment on it so I just thought I would put this in as I like to update my reviews if I noticed anything positive or negative over time.
