Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Garmonbozia means "pain and sorrow", in case you didn't know. If you didn't know this, you will likely struggle with the new series at first. Familiarity with the original series, particular the fate of Agent Cooper in the last episode, is imperative. Knowledge of "Fire Walk With Me" and its "Missing Pieces" also helps dramatically. You might still be confused at first, seemingly without moorings. That's intentional. That is the state Agent Cooper is in at the start of the new series. For 25 years, Agent Cooper has been stuck another dimension, where nothing operates with the same rules as our own world. His return to Twin Peaks will require patience, focus, and perseverance for both Cooper and the viewers. Meanwhile... there will be oddities, confusion, and yes, pain and sorrow. While Cooper is in the Lodge world, there are many things wrong with our world. However, there will also be brief glimpses of warmth and lightness. You'll see characters you know and perhaps love, although they'll be older and different in some ways. You'll see new people, places and things, and you might not be able to comprehend or relate to them at first. Agent Cooper and the viewers will need patience, focus, and perseverance to make it through. And a willingness to accept that you won't understand everything right away. Let me encourage you not to turn away if there is something that you don't like initially or that perplexes you. Stick with it and you will witness things you have never seen before and could not have anticipated. You will be rewarded for your efforts. I have only seen the first four episodes as of this writing. Already the seemingly disparate elements are beginning to coalesce. The ultimate destination is a place both wonderful and strange. I believe you will be glad you took the hard road to get there.
