Bad reviews must have an agenda. My projector is great. Funny, I can focus mine very well. HMMM, Maybe someone can't read instructions. It is delicate however. Don't let young kids handle it and be quite careful not to look into the light. It may well be a series of laser diodes that could harm your eyes. It is so bright that even a brief exposure will dazzle you vision. Heck, its not really a toy. I loaded the northern hemisphere and it really is quite accurate. Read the instructions which specify 6 to 7 feet from the ceiling. Oh, and if you have a texture or sand finish ceiling take it to a room that doesn't. The motion is faster than reality, but what planetarium isn't. IT IS WORTH THE PRICE FOR AN ASTRONOMICALLY ACCURATE PROJECTOR.
