Things you need to know before buying this generator: 1. Before you even buy this generator, you need to invest in either hard rubber run flats, or Pneumatic ones (10" tires with a 5/8" axle). The wheels provided are run flats but made of Nerf foam which flat spot and don't roll. 2. When the generator arrives, remove the battery face plate, chances are the negative cable is not connected. Furthermore, chances are the battery will be stone cold DEAD, so you might was well remove the battery & charge it over night. 3. The manual tells you to remove the braces - there are no braces to remove or nylon straps 4. If your in a location with high humidity such as TX, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, etc... You should look into buying a 100 lbs cylinder. Reason why is you need the volume & size of a 100 lbs cylinder so as not to have your tank freeze up half way through your bottle (physics). You'll then also need a POL to QCC adapter ($10.00 EBAY/Amazon) 5. Although you are supplied with plug ends, there are no cords of any kind - period! 6. When using this unit on propane, you need to place the choke OFF 7. The auto idle will NOT work while using propane, the generator will just yo-yo up & down from full idle to almost stalling and back to full idle again 8. The generator will start via pull start with a dead battery, just make sure the key is on the "ON" position (mine started on the first pull with a dead battery) 9. You need to run a very high quality 4 stroke engine oil (1.25 quarts) & change it after a few hours of break-in. I found several specs of steel & aluminum in the oil I drained (Royal Purple 10w-30). 10. The existing muffler has a lip in addition to a small hole predrilled which would make adding an add-on muffler easy 11. Be prepared to have a lift or additional help unboxing this BEAST - it's right around 300lbs!!! All in all, this is a pretty good generator, just be prepared and have the mechanical aptitude to do some simple work. In comparison to the 10k watt Champion duel fuel, this seems to have the same options, just a bit more juice. For the price paid, you'd expect wheels that actually roll and a manufacture that would disclose that the auto idle function doesn't work on LP - reason for the 4 stars.
