Was ready to be unimpressed. It failed to deliver; I was indeed impressed. It certainly doesn't have the power a gas unit would, but that only means it takes 5-15sec per cut instead of 2-10sec. If you only have an hour or so of work to do, and nothing bigger than 8" or so in diameter, there is NO reason to get anything else. I had planned on getting a corded unit based on past experience with battery tools. However, my wife had already bought a Greenworks hedge trimmer. Already having a battery and charger made this unit little more than the cheapest cord unit I could find. So, I gave it a shot. In case you think this is coming from some eco-hipster, no. I grew up running gas equipment. In fact, I'm proud the electricity that runs this little guy (yes, it's a cute little guy) was generated from natural gas in the USA. But I live in the suburbs and I need a chainsaw exactly 3 hours per year. And at least half of those hours are doing things I probably shouldn't be doing with a chainsaw, like cutting my beard and other manly stuff.
