My 11 month old granddaughter is learning to feed herself and the common silicone baby spoons were not quite right. This is perfect for small hands to grasp, spoon bowl correctly sized to hold baby portion of food without dropping or rolling off, unless she decides to shake spoon like a mariachi. The first time using this spoon more food made it to her mouth than the 3 other spoons she has. The pacifier type guards prevent her from pushing the spoon too far into her mouth. Size is small for adult but perfect for a baby/toddler. If feeding baby use other spoon and let them use this one. This grandmother is very satisfied with purchase and my daughter-in-law said she is very happy 😊
