A pleasure to watch
A League of Their Own digs deeper into the lives of the women who played professional baseball during World War II. The series has that wonderful balance of comedy and drama that is difficult to create. The characters have lives that reveal the prejudices women of all ethnicities faced and to some degree overcame. The series has high production values with theater quality cinematography. Sparkling humor combined with cringe worthy moments make this a fascinating series.
