I’ve had this charger for almost a year and had been very happy with it. Unfortunately the phone pad stopped charging my phone a few days ago. Green light didn’t come on for phone charging, but the light came on for my watch and it charged. While researching a replacement, I read in the Q&A for a similar unit that if any of the chargers stopped working you should first try unplugging the power adapter from the wall and both ends of the cord, then plug everything back together. Tried it on this charger and problem solved! As I said, I’ve been very happy with this charger. It works through the phone’s case (silicone and less than 0.2 inches). My only complaint, and it’s about the design of this and all the similar ones out there, is that one must be careful that the phone doesn’t get bumped out of alignment such that charging is prevented. Some sort of guide rails or clamp would prevent that, but would diminish the simplicity of placing the phone on the charger and make it more expensive. So there are trade offs, but I haven’t found a better design with respect to simplicity of use and small footprint. Just double check the phone placement.
