This was a gift for an adult child. She's young, tech savvy & knows what's available. She's quite happy with her Toshiba Chromebook 2, said it felt just like the macbook air 13 she had tried. Spec-wise perhaps not, but it does have the feel & weight. User-wise & happiness-wise we hit a home run! The processor is fast, screen resolution is great, so light, fits in satchel to carry with. (need protective sleeve..next on list) With the Chrome OS, there are no unnecessary programs running in the background at all times to slow it down, unlike the Microsoft's OS. For a light user, like my daughter, less space was needed. 2GB meets her needs. One app at a time, or she is internet surfing. We compared it to the highest rated 11 inch ASUS & Acer Chromebooks when shopping. We also considered our brief encounter with a Microsoft Surface, which went back to the store in 2 days. I hated the size, which was 10 inches & the flimsy keyboard accessory we bought to use it clumsily on our laps. No offense to the Surface, it was not meant to be in the hands of someone who prefers a real laptop. I tried to get used to it & my daughter said, "Mom, just take it back!" We like laptops. The Toshiba CB35-B3330 13.3-Inch Chromebook 2 is comfortable for her. I am so happy I bought it!
