I applied for and was granted this card on 7/7/2018. I also have Amazon Prime membership of which I have a designated credit card for my monthly withdrawal fee that is taken out the 1st of each month. I received a credit card statement for the Amazon card showing a charge of $14.11. This is the same charge for my Prime Membership. So I spent 3 hours on the phone with Synchrony Bank and Amazon customer service agents. Amazon charged my Prime Membership fees onto the new Amazon card and not the designated card that I have used for 2 years. Amazon and Synchrony bank said although I didn't authorize this change there was no way to reverse the charges and put it back on my designated credit card. I cancelled this credit card and thinking seriously about cancelling Amazon Prime membership. This is unethical and I have lost my trust in Amazon.
