It looks to be a well made, sturdy cable that may last a long time. I bought it as a replacement to my MacBook Pro charger cable. It has the 87watt wall charger. Astonishingly this cable does not only not charge the computer while you use it, the battery charge level decreases at almost the same rate as if the computer was not plugged in, even though the battery icon shows that it is charging. It charges the computer slowly when it is shut down. That's some low quality cable, that cost almost twice what I would have paid for a standard Amazon C to C cable. I have always had great experiences with Anker, which is why I was willing to pay twice, what a disappointment! Will return this crapy product on Monday.
