I used to use a thermal product I really loved, until it was no longer available. Ever since, I have been searching for something that would do as well. I was very excited by the prospect that this could be that product, given the reviews. I was extremely disappointed. I won’t even use it long enough to find out if it works. Generally, I wash my hair and straighten it one day and keep it dry the next day. However, this stuff feels like hairspray and acts like hairspray in every way. Let’s start with the smell. If I were a guy trying to pick someone up, it’s probably good, but I smell like cologne, and I don’t care for it. Next, the drying process. It took me nearly twice as long to dry and straighten my hair as normal, because I could barely run a brush through my hair. This stuff causes the hairs to stick together and the brush wouldn’t comb smoothly through my hair. Lastly, rewetting. I had zero intention of rewetting my hair until the 3rd day, but I was caught out in a rain storm and my hair clumped together and got crunchy like I put hairspray in my hair. I ended up just pulling all my hair in a ponytail, because I could do nothing with it. It didn’t even hold, because this stuff isn’t hairspray. I had large amounts of flyaways all around the ponytail, because I just couldn’t pull it back. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone with fine hair like mine. It just doesn’t work to even get me to protection (or maybe it’s because I can’t even straighten my hair, and that’s how it works).
