I can't believe no one mentioned this, but the first words pictures are terrible! My daughter is 19 months and she hasn't started to talk yet so we have been trying to use different cards to help her along and she does pretty good recognizing words but she just stared at me when I showed these pictures. The foot is actually a foot print and doesn't really look like a foot, the house has an observatory and a fire hydrant above the door below the window ???? also the animals don't look like a dog or a frog or a cow even. I don't know why they would put a worm in an apple or why on earth the "TV" looks like something from the 60s when the cards are from 2010. The book looks nothing like a book and the cookies look like a pile of mush. I can understand what these pictures are but my 19 month old has no clue. They are supposed to be for toddlers do they really have to be so cartoony? I don't know but I guess I expected too much from a company who can't even spell school.
