If you search the reviews here and elsewhere you will discover many reports of intermittent issues with disconnects of attached storage, failure to wake up from sleep, and rapid performance degradation issues (e.g. after a couple months it dies). For me there was no other product with the features so I told myself those reviews were outliers with random product defects. After THREE replacements I can now say with absolute certainty that this product has serious and profound manufacturing defects which are not avoidable. These issues result in frozen connections to peripherals, brutal system crashes resulting in lost data, and random disconnects of external storage. Avoid this product.
