I have long curly hair. I blow-dry bent over from the waist, so that I am essentially upside down and scrunch my hair as it dries. The very first time I used this, after only 8 minutes of use, I happened to notice as I was using it that the blue metal plate that distributes the airflow was sitting crooked. I turned of the dryer and intended to straighten it. At this point I noticed that the black plastic “fingers” were melted and crooked. I removed the plate, and the entire plastic cone was melted and lumpy. I consider myself lucky it didn’t start a fire, or at the very least ruin my $80 hair dryer (Rusk w8less). Needless to say, it’s going back!!!
