After having the original puck for about 3-4 months (which is a really long time) I decided to replace it. I got this one in the mail and switched it out, expecting great results since we were well passed the lifetime of the original puck. After replacing it, however, my wife and I hardly noticed any difference. For the price, I would expect way more, as these are pretty pricy. I'll share a trick that I've been doing to help with the smell: every morning after I brew coffee, I dump the used coffee grounds into the top of the Munchkin pail, then the next time we add a diaper it will push them down into the bag. It may sound weird, but coffee grounds absorb odors, and I've definitely noticed a difference in smell. Hopefully this helps someone else!
