I wouldn't have a problem with this product if it didn't make the ridiculous claim that it's the "brightest light on Amazon." It's the same light/mount combo that you can get from a certain Chinese website (I'm not allowed to say which one) for less than $8. It's telling that this listing won't even state what components are inside. I can tell you it's a Cree XP-E Q5 and it's rated at 150 lm. 150 lm is laughable for a bike light! If you want a bright, inexpensive light for your bike, I would either get one of the 1200 lm lights available on Amazon for less than $20, which are designed to keep on your bike semi-permanently, or if you want a light that quickly detaches, buy an 18650 flashlight, charger, and simple clip to mount it on your bike or helmet (what I use) for around $15. If you agree that they shouldn't make false claims in their item description, please mark this review as helpful so that others can see it.
