DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, PURCHASE THIS BED. The customer support for the product is a joke. We called to ask for a replacement piece for the wooden slat that broke. They claimed that they couldn’t even verify that it’s their product and so they couldn’t give me a replacement piece. I could buy one wooden slat for $75 and that was my only option. We got the grey color. Definitely has a good mix of tan and grey, but we were expecting that based on the customer photos and reviews. It arrived in two big boxes and took two of us about an hour to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and it was nice to not need any tools beyond the one thing that was already in the box. It’s absolutely gorgeous in person! Unfortunately, one of the bed slats snapped in half the very first time my husband (who is only about 190) got into bed. This makes me pretty nervous for long term, normal use. So now, we’ve got a snapped wooden slat and have to deal with hopefully getting a replacement for it. I’m also considering getting a bunkie board for it instead, but am concerned about the maximum weight on the bed since we have a foam mattress which is already heavier than a spring mattress. We’ve had an IKEA Malm bed for about 4 years with no issues so it was really disappointing to see this happen on the first day.
