I had high hopes for this product. I have little children and wanted a safer way to get rid of the wasps around our front door and the back yard. I put these up and didn't notice any change right away, but a few days later, I didn't see any wasps at all. I was thrilled, until the weather report called for rain. The product has to be taken down during rain or it will be damaged. When I pulled these little paper lanterns down to protect them, I was immediately swarmed with the wasps who had taken up residence inside. The wasps had built their home inside my FMI 0900 wasp deterrent. I dropped both of these into a bucket, wasps and all, dumped in some bleach, then inserted the garden hose through hole in the lid and ran it until it was full. There were close to forty wasp bodies in that bucket with what was left of the deterrent. Didn't work for me. Back to poison I suppose.
