As a doctor, I am very shocked at what has happened to the chair I purchased for my patient when his insurance would not cover the rental any longer. This is the exact make & model he was renting, and yet this chair has completely fallen apart in less than 6 months of use. First the seams on the leg wrests broke open, I glued them back in place; then the seams in the arm wrests broke open and the right hand armrest is falling off the chair altogether. At the rate this chair is breaking apart, he might be able to use it for another month. Naturally the Amazon return window has closed so they will not help, I'm going to try to reach out to Drive. I don't know what Amazon is selling here but I find it hard to believe these are real DRIVE brand wheelchairs. Drive is an excellent brand used by medical supply rental companies all over the country, they don't fall apart like this but this chair is an absolute piece of junk & I strongly suspect it is counterfeit. - Dr. Mike Noga, Sci.D.
