(UPDATE: it broke after dropping in the sink- at least it won’t pull the hairs out of my neck and face like a sadistic torture device anymore!)I’ve been buying these groomsman trimmers for 25 years. I’ve always had facial hair so I’ve regularly used this product. They generally last a few years before needing a replacement. So I’ve bought several of these. I bought this one in April of 2019 and at first, it seemed just as good as the previous ones, although it did feel lighter and more cheaply made. After a couple months, it started pulling at my beard hairs to the point where now it’s so painful to use, I feel like I’m using an Epilady on my face! It pulls and yanks out vs cuts smoothly now. Very painful! Blades went bad? Defective? I don’t know but it feels like I’ve gotten a cheap cereal box prize version of what once was a quality product. I follow instructions for lubrication and cleaning and charging and it’s gone from bad to worse. I’m deeply disappointed in the quality of this product now.
