Pros: Easy to assemble. As others have noted, the back is unfinished, but I expected that. I really like the way the completed unit looks. Cons: Unbelievable fragile. This unit is the poster child for what is wrong with particle board. If you look at it funny, pieces flake off. Ordered one unit, it arrived damaged. Ordered a replacement, and it too arrived damaged. And this isn't a shipper's problem as much as it is the manufacturers, who made it too fragile for normal shipment.
