I have been wearing New Balance shoes for decades. These were supposed to be size 9.5 and extra wide size 2E. I've worn New Balance Hook/Loop shoes before and they were comfortable and well-made. Although these were marked as 9.5 and 2E wide, there is no way they were 9.5 = I COULD NOT GET THEM ON MY FEET! Not only were they too small, the material and workmanship was very, very poor quality. I'm not every sure the material was leather - more like plastic. I am shocked that New Balance would put their name on these shoddy, low quality shoes. I have since reordered an expensive ($110) New Balance hook/loop shoes and I hope the quality of these shoes is up to the usual New Balance standard of quality.
