I am on the fence with this game. To me it feels like leftist propaganda. I went into the game for the road trip experience. I like story driven games. But this shoves politics down your throat at every step. It feels like liberals made this game during the Trump era. You have the sides, red and blue, during election time. The red side is made out to be a dictator that rigs media and elections to win. You have the young kids which are hitch hikers trying to flee the country. But in todays political environment the sides would seem to be switched in this game. They really should have switched red and blue in this game. There were a couple of characters I cared for. The truck driver and the woman police officer. But the other characters are laughable. The voice acting is bad. And there are times in the game where it just gets corny. Like a car chasing you Lonney Tunes style, swerving all over the road. But for some reason I want to see how the story ends for the characters that I like. So I play it. If I would have known about the political angle with this game then I probably would have never bought it. Just do some research before you plunk down your money for this game. It may not be what you want.
