You've seen the videos and read all the great reviews. That's why you're on this page, considering buying this drone. Well here's your chance to finally make up your mind. Guys, this drone sucks. No, i'm not still angry about the bad experience I had with it. In fact, the bad experience usually isn't enough to make me write a review. I'm a drone guy and this drone looked awesome from the videos on YouTube. Let me tell you why this drone sucks. The app is horrible. It takes several attempts to get the app to recognize your phone when it's connected. Let an experienced drone flyer warn you now, that bad apps WILL make you crash or lose your drone. This drone does not have obstacle avoidance. Not a big issue for me because I'm an experienced drone flyer. However, for $550 bucks, this thing needs to have obstacle avoidance. The drone feels so cheap I almost laughed. They might as well stamp Fisher Price on this drone. If this drone crashes, it's a definite goner. This drone is very unstable. It doesn't hover well in place and the slightest breeze will ruin your footage. The camera bobbles every now and then which also ruins your footage. Parrot makes your pay for certain features like Follow Me. And it's not cheap. It's around $30. The gimbal is only a 2 axis mechanical with the third axis being digital. What does that mean? It means footage that is less smooth. The controller is giant piece of crap. It's bigger than the drone. And it will not allow you to mount a larger tablet. An Ipad Mini is the biggest tablet it will accommodate. By now, if you're still thinking about taking your chance with this drone, then I wish you all the luck you can find. Trust me, you're going to need it.
