Heavy Equipment Mechanic for 20 years. Bought this pair of boots for the tread design and they appeared sturdy. Two months later, I have a 3" hole in the rubber located right above my right heel. The rubber covering the toes on BOTH boots came unstitched a month ago. The tread itself is also failing prematurely. I spent a little more than normal on these boots hoping to get a better quality. Truth it, the $30 pair you can buy from cheap store down the street, are actually a much better boot, in comparison. Here is the greatest part of the deal, Amazon only offers a 30 day return on these boots. I NEVER write reviews on anything I buy from Amazon; but these boots have left me up the well known creek. If you are looking for a reliable, long lasting and dependable boot; these are not the pair in my opinion.
