I like the style of this stick, finished very nicely and feels durable. Speeds could be better. Big issue: when using the USB-C side with no activity actually taking place and the stick simply plugged in it has reached a temperature of 130 degrees Fahrenheit. What scares me is that it may have gone even higher, I have no way of knowing if I measured it at the peak or not. At this temperature it is a real burn risk. I contacted SanDisk support and their solution was replacement but there are enough reviews mentioning high temperatures I wasn't confident that a replacement stick would be any better so I'm just not ever leaving this plugged in again. Amazon asked me to rate this on warmth. So, is it 5 stars because it gets really really "warm" or is it 1 star because that's a bug not a feature? LOL. Edit: after several more incidents of "too hot to touch" I did get an RMA from Sandisk and they replaced the item. Unfortunately the replacement is no better.
