★★☆☆☆
Sensor based body metrics are inaccurate.
Set up - Super easy, super intuitive, all in all a pleasant experience; 5-star Aesthetics - totally average; 3-star Impedance based metrics - unusably inaccurate, off by about 15%, mine seems to be in the user's favor; 0-star As a bathroom scale it's fine, it's +/- 1 lb compared to the other two scales I regularly use; a "dumb" 30$ weight watcher which displays body fat / bmi / weight, and the scale + hand-held impedance meter at the gym. My personal health goals are body-compositionally orientated, when I stepped on the scale and it proceeded to produce a 16.8 body fat % I knew I'd be returning this; the aforementioned WW scale sits at 19.8%, the handheld at the gym sits at 19.6%, and a 7-point caliper test sits at 19.6 % while this appears to be only about 3% difference this is actually off by about 15% from reality (16.8/19.6), which to me says it cannot be trusted for one of my main metrics, which casts it's accuracy in all other categories in significant doubt.
