Not actually good for artists
I bought this tablet for use with digital art programs primarily, since I had seen it recommended for that purpose. However, the nature of the touch screen means that even the slightest bump from fingers, wrist, or any other part of your hand or arm means "paint" smears all over the working areas that must be undone/erased constantly. It took me 5 times longer to make simple line art with this tablet than it does my graphics tablet that must be connected to a computer to function (and I actually got this because I wanted a graphics tablet that didn't require being plugged into a computer to use) . It irritates me most because this tablet comes with a trial of Clip Studio Paint, which is my preferred art program, so I felt this meant it was designed for art in mind, but using it for that purpose is horribly uncomfortable. The CSP included is also only a 6 month trial and you CANNOT use a key code for it that you've already paid for even when signed into your existing CSP account.
I feel like the battery life is also poor. The tablet went from 100% to fully dead in less than a day, most of that being in standby mode and not in active use.
I'm sort of stuck with it now, because it DOES work, just not well or for what I want it for. I can only receive a full refund if it has arrived nonfunctional, so I'll do what I can to make the best of it, because this thing isn't cheap, either. For that reason I thought it important to be very honest about my feelings on my review. If you're looking for a tablet for art, I don't recommend this at all! Just get the Wacom.
