Extremely disappointed, used this product about 20 times and thought it was great. Then one morning hit the start lever and went about getting ready for work, returned to the kitchen to find that the unit was boiling water like crazy, water all over the counter and dripping down on my hardwood floor, unit almost boiled dry and would have if given a few more minutes. Tried the unit again after letting it dry out completely and the same thing, did not shut off, just kept heating until the water was ready to blow out the top. Contacted Hamilton Beach as I was just outside the return window and they were happy to send me a new unit as long as I paid SHIPPING AND HANDLING $12 BUCKS. I purchased on a lightning deal for $16 Thanks a bunch HAMILTON BEACH. So in the recycle bin and I will never buy a Hamilton beach product again. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE REVIEWS THIS IS JUNK
