Misleading description, don't fall for it
The first lie: "Latest 2020" Product available: Sept 2019 The second lie: "120 mile range" I looked into setting up antenna TV a couple years ago, I live in a bad spot for antenna reception, the .gov site that tells you what kind of reception you can get (assuming an antenna on a 30ft pole) said I could expect 7 channels. Doing a bit of research on how to get a good signal for my area, I already knew I needed an outdoor antenna and a signal booster, which was going to cost around $100-150, plus whatever it would cost for a pole to put it on and anchor it. I've always wanted to try one of these antennas anyway and see what they could do. When I saw the claim this has a 120 mile range I knew better but it was a cheap gamble and has a ton of positive reviews so I thought 'why not'. Hooked it all up, got my 7 channels.. except 6 of them would constantly buffer. This is exactly what I expected to happen, there's no way to get anymore than a 30-50 mile range on a flat indoor antenna. Maybe if you live on a mountain this thing has 120mi range. Another thing that is sketchy and should be somewhat of a red flag is that there is no brand mentioned or shown in the pictures of this product. There are lots of these cheap antennas on Amazon and I can only assume this is a product licensed to several different companies, though I don't know that for sure. All in all, if you live close to towers or otherwise in a flat area with little restriction.. this antenna will probably do fine. But I for one don't appreciate being lied to, I'd rather give my money to a brand that I can identify and one that is honest about how their product will perform.
