I REALLY wanted to love these. . . Sadly, they now just take up space in my silverware drawer or occasionally get used as a baby toy. When I saw these for the first time, I thought it was a brilliant idea! My now 1 year old LOOOOOVES avocado and eats them everyday, so I knew I had to have them. (By the way, these are cheaper on Uncommon Goods) I paid about $11 for this 2 piece set here on Amazon, which I think is too expensive. But I got them anyway because I was sure they would get used everyday and keep my daughters precious avocados fresh. Again, this a great idea. . . However unless the avocado is the exact size and shape of the food hugger, it just doesn't work. If it doesn't fit correctly, the avocado is brown by the time you get back to it. The smaller size can work, IF you have an avocado that is the right size and shape. Still not as good as I had hoped. And the large one has never been used. Not even once. It is enormous. I live in San Diego, and I have yet to find an avocado that large. And I have avocados in the house at all times. . . So, in my opinion, they should do away with the large size and sell 2 regular sizes in the set. . . Also lower the price by several dollars. . .And even then, they wouldn't get used all the time. These definitely need some work. I'm bummed they didn't work for me.
