WARNING. CAN'T USE WITHOUT INTERNET - The product description for the FLIR One is FALSE. This quote "Simply attach FLIR one to your Android device, and use the FLIR" is not a true statement. The true statement would read "Simply attach FLIR one to your Android device and then create a user account on our cloud server AND SIGN IN or you can't use your camera, ever." I really could NOT believe it. Never in my life have I bought a camera or any other electronic that I COULD NOT USE without signing in to the vendor's cloud server. It isn't just that you have to register. You have to "Sign In" - there is no way to dismiss this sign in and use the camera saving registration for another time (so if you buy this and you don't have access to the Internet you are SOL. You just bought a cute little table weight, not a camera.) For people without internet access or people who simply do NOT want to create a FLIR account this is a useless product and the product description needs to FULLY STATE THAT and it does not. In my opinion their attitude on this is appalling. How DARE they sell a camera I can't use. Well they can dare because in order for your phone to use the camera you need their software and it is not at all uncommon in the software world for you to agree to create an account in order to use the software so theirin lies their loophole. So for people who do NOT want to create an account on the FLIR cloud server, they have a response for you and I have attached it in a photo. "we are happy to provide you a refund if you don't want to create an account" ooooooo that really makes me angry. That is so arrogant. That kind of arrogance in the highly competitive world of "stuff" that people buy - that is FLIR saying they don't need your business! They have SO much business that they don't need you, the one without Internet. Or you, the one who doesn't want to create an account. Pretty brazen. The next problem you may have is that many of you may not even be aware that there is a NEW type of USB for phones now. So when you read the product description read it carefully and you will notice the words USB-C. That means it will not just plug right into your typical micro-usb phone so you will need an adapter as shown in the photos. But, alas, what good is an adapter for a camera you can't use anyhow.
