Usually when you buy a truck rack, especially one over $500, you are trying to buy a complete rack, not one that requires you to turn around and purchase more items in order to have a complete rack. This rack does not come with top cross bars like shown in the photo, and the description is not clear that it doesn’t, it just says it “works with hd cross bars”. Having to spend an additional $249 to complete this rack is a little lame. Other than that, it’s great quality equipment. Just wish the description was more clear so that I could actually use this rack for the trip I ordered it for this weekend.
