DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME UNTIL THEY CHANGE IT BACK IT IS NOT A FUN GAME ANYMORE!!!!! EA updated this game March 2014. No one who has been playing had a choice. They would not let us play our game until we updated! My dear husband and I loved this game, until we did the recent update that brought in the grim reaper. The only thing we like about this update is it added the beach and arcade but because of the grim reaper, the only thing we do now is keep the grim reaper at bay and keep our sims levels up so they don't walk around like they are dying. If the life stages were longer, it wouldn't be so bad but for 40 some days from birth to death kind of takes the fun out of the game and it does not help that you can get life orbs to pass onto babies. Don't we have enough death in this world do we really need a game that used to be fun turned into just a money making machine and all you do is try to keep death at bay? I became attached to my sims, it was fun, I had families, they worked hard to move up in the world and finally own there dream homes. I had teenagers become adults and they were able to move out of the house and start there own lives and families. Now I have to pay a lot of attention because my toddlers become pre-teens in about a week. Pre-teens to teens in a short time as well. The adults have a bit more time and then they become seniors. You can stop it and pay 10-20 lps's to keep them from growing older. It is hard to make lp's in the game, it's like gold. Simolians are regular money. But since lp's are hard to get you either let them all grow up and die in about 41 days or you spend real money to buy lp's to keep paying when the time comes for them to get older. Wow, I understand death in real life but we have until we are 80 or beyond. But in sims freeplay, its now in 41 days. So much fun....not!!! We had spent some money on our games to get packages whether it was money for the game, accessory packages, etc. We even have th whole set of Sims 3 for the PC and now getting ready to buy Sims 4. But EA/Fire Monkys has gone too far. We understand they need to make money and we had put money into it all along. But now, they don't give you much of a choice or just let your sims die off and not really become attached. Not much time to do much with them now. It takes longer for them to get 100% in school before they move on. If they have to keep death and the grim reaper, let us decide when it's time for our sims to get older and let us decide when it's time for our seniors to be taken by the grim reaper without making it expensive. We are not made of money. Doesn't EA make enough on all of there Sims games from PC to Xbox?
